George, affectionately known as George, Georgie, or sometimes King George because of that cool crown, is a beloved member of the Sea Cliff and Glen Cove communities. For years, he has worked countless hours at Tex Mex, serving lunch and dinner to locals and visitors alike. His cheerful spirit, and willingness to go above and beyond have made him a familiar and cherished face to so many. Whether it’s a busy lunch rush or a late-night dinner, George is always there with a smile, making everyone feel welcome and cared for.

Recently, George suffered a serious accident—he fell and broke his leg and ankle. The injuries are severe enough that he needs surgery, and his recovery will take time. This means George won’t be able to be on his feet or return to work for a while. The costs of medical bills, home care, rehabilitation, and daily living expenses are adding up quickly, and the road ahead will be challenging. As someone who has always given so much to his community, George now finds himself in need of support.
