As you probably know by now, George passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 23, 2023 with cause of death being heart failure. He just turned 84 on December 5th.

George was a very nice person and husband. He supported my animal rescue work for many years, making numerous trips to the airport to pick up new arrivals from Greece. The connection to Greece came from us going there in April 1984 for our honeymoon. We would be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary in a few months.

George lived for the moment. He loved his job but was happy to retire in 2000, after over 33 years with Air Canada.

Am feeling quite overwhelmed by it all. Sadly, for his passing and due to our financial situation, I'm forced to ask for help so I can cover the expenses related to his end of life. I would really appreciate your support. I can accept e-transfers or personal check.

I know it's not a good time to be asking for financial help but I'm forced to as the cost of providing for his end of life needs is too much for me to cover. George is being cremated and I'll bring his ashes home.
