Dear Friends and Family

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you today with a heartfelt request for support. My dear cousin, George Ballard, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Renal Medullary Carcinoma (RMC) - a very rare and aggressive form of cancer. He has already undergone a massive surgery to remove his right kidney and an affected lymph node and suffered a stroke due to the cancer. This diagnosis has brought immense emotional and financial challenges to our family, and we are in desperate need of your help.

George is preparing to begin an aggressive chemotherapy, where he will be there 5-6 hours at a time. While we are praying for a positive outcome, and a cancer free future the costs associated with the treatment are overwhelming. We have set up a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the medical expenses, travel costs, and other related expenses.

George is a hard-working husband, father to five beautiful children which impacts his financial responsibility to his family. He is, a wonderful son, grandson, brother and an amazing uncle to many. I chose George to be the Godfather of my first born child and his commitment never wavers. He will be incapable of working for months, which will have a drastic impact on his responsibilities and providing for his family
