Donation protected
On Tuesday February 1st 2022, 15 year old George a Healthy, Happy, Fun loving soccer player was taken to Bundaberg Base Hospital with Symptoms of Migraines, No Balance, Double vision and blackouts. Following an MRI the next day young George and his Mum were told the devastating news that he has a 5cm Cerebellar Neoplastic Mass with Obstructive Hydrocephalus and Cerebellar Tonsillar herniation and was to be flown to Brisbane for Immediate surgery. Although the surgery is now scheduled for Friday 11th due to him also testing positive for Covid19, he is still trying to remain in good spirits, anxiously waiting to start his long road to recovery. Previous research suggests that children that have tumours in the posterior fossa region of the brain are at risk of experiencing language and speech difficulties post surgery as well as the potential loss of Mobility, this could be for a short period but this is uncertain in any case. Lets help get this Beautiful Bundy boy home to his Family, friends and support network.
