George Goich - Farewell Tour
The Story
George Goich III served as the Director of Golf for over twelve years. He was the longest tenured employee on the property prior to his abrupt release in July of 2014.
He was there when the founding members saved the club in 2007 and worked tirelessly with the Board of Directors, Committees and the Membership to build many of the successful golf programs enjoyed by all of us today.
As the Director of Golf, George displayed an unmatched level of enthusiasm and dedication. Many of us know, that George's heart is worn on his sleeve.
In 2013 the Board of Directors allowed George to establish the Golf Shop at Turner Hill, LLC.
George was to own and operate the ProShop.
George was instructed to establish credit with vendors and manufacturers, which he did. He also opened a line of credit with a local Financial Institution.
The Problem:
Member charges in the ProShop were escrowed by the Golf Club. Sale proceeds were not received in hand by George for between fifteen and sixty days (normal).
In July of 2014, when George was released, he was due to receive a check for the balance of his ProShop sales.
To date, George has not received the funds.
George has an outstanding balance on his credit line of approximately sixty thousand dollars. Unable to find work, he cannot repay the loan which is due to be called at the begining of May.
When the line is called, it will set him back even further.
The Solution:
George has insisted that any funds pledged will be repaid when he gets back on his feet.
Let's work together to help send George, his wife and his three children on their way properly.
A small group of us have agreed to collect 100% of the funds and deliver a payment to his Financial Institution.
This project is in response to people asking how they can help.
