With a heavy heart, I am sharing the loss of my brother, Georgie IV. He was a devoted dad, uncle, son, and brother who touched so many lives with his kind spirit and genuine laughter.
About 6 years ago, Georgie survived a traumatic brain injury that doctors never believed he would recover from. Through prayer, determination, and the love of his young son, he regained his ability to walk, talk, and rebuild his life. Though left with impairments and a limp, he never let that steal his positivity or his love for people.
Tragically, that second chance was taken away too soon. One evening, after going on a walk, Georgie never returned home. My dad went searching for him and found him in the street, left behind in devastating circumstances. We may never understand why, but we know he is now free of pain and resting with Jesus.
Our family wants to give Georgie the farewell he deserves, but the costs of burial, transportation, and his service are more than we can carry alone.
If you are able, please consider donating — every gift, no matter the size, will help us honor Georgie’s memory. If you cannot give financially, we ask that you share his story and keep our family in your prayers.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love and support during this painful time.
