George Erickson

Hello, my name is Bianca, I am a friend of the family the Ericksons through my sister Aiyana whom is very close with George as well as Marie, Georges little sister. On Saturday May 14th around 3:30pm a 16 year old boy named George and a friend were on a little hiking trail which we call the "bug line" when he was faced with a critical life emergancy, George Erickson was shot 3 times, in the head, neck and back. When the cops arrived George was quickly taken to Waukesha hospital, then to children's where he put on life support and underwent multiple, long surgeries. From what I know, he broke his neck, 2 shattered vertebrae, shattered face and many other internal issues. He will have to get his face reconstructed and may be blind in his left eye along with the major body injuries. Until he wakes up, they won't know if he will be paralyzed. He is currently in a coma and won't be woken for 2 weeks.

The family is obviously going through a very hard time considering there is really nothing to be done other than pray and wait. With little updates here and there from the doctors, the last thing on their mind is medical bills, I'm sure. That's why I am stepping in and trying to help raise money to go towards the medical bills & the surgeries and give the family hope that there are people here to help and support them while they go through this! Assuming his mother is not going to be able to go to work, it is going to be a huge struggle trying to pay for this along with pay for her and her other two kids lives.
