It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved George Washington Varney, who left us at the remarkable age of 91. He was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of so many. George will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

George’s long and full life was a blessing to our family, and we are grateful for every moment we shared. We are comforted by the memories we hold dear, but we are also facing a difficult time as we prepare to lay him to rest.

Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we are not financially prepared for the funeral expenses. George was denied life insurance coverage repeatedly for the past 20 years due to his health. He had pre-existing health problems that he struggled with for many years, such as heart problems, diabetes, and dementia. As a result, our family is facing a significant financial burden during this already difficult time.

We are reaching out to our community, friends, and anyone who has been touched by George’s life to ask for your support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated and will help us give him the proper farewell he deserves. The funds raised will be used solely for the funeral expenses, including service fees, transportation fees, casket, and other funeral expenses.
