George (aka Terry) Walton was a loving husband, father and dear friend to many people.
In 1971, Terry embarked on a transformative path when he joined the Unification Church in New
York after been witnessed to by his oldest sister Felice Hart who joined earlier.
His unwavering commitment led him to serve in diverse roles, from fundraising to witnessing, pioneering, and as a Divine Principle Lecturer, traveling extensively across the United States.
George "Terry" Walton's life was a testament to selfless dedication, love, and service, leaving
an indelible mark on all he encountered.
He suddenly died while he was working overseas in Guam. The cause of death is still unknown since his family will still need go and claim his body. When the authorities found him he was fully clothed and lying down, we believe he left this earth quickly without much pain.
he must of knew his time was coming soon, he made sure to call his family everyday and to tell them "i love you" after ending each call. His last conversation was with his daughter, Julia she called him right before he passed to get some advice and last words to her were "i love you"
this is a difficult time for the family since he was the anchor, support, and kept the peace between the family.
he was such a nice, friendly person and that could make friends with all walks of life(even with people with different religions & views). He was a very vivacious person, when he used to sing he really belted his voice, felt like he was trying to shake the earth, even if he was tone deaf. He was easy to talk to, had a sweet demeanor (he got along with coworkers which isnt always easy to do)
He tried the best for his family making sure they were taking care of even though he was gone most of the time for work. when he was home he spent all this time with his wife and daughter taking them on many road trips, dinner, shopping and staycations. One his favorite pastime was staying at home and watching movies with his family & playing with his daughters fur babies like they were his own grandkids. You know a person is good especially how they treat animals
he was also very devoted to his faith and to God
The family is having a difficult time especially since he passed overseas and there are many complications just to bring him back.
this fundraiser will support with the memorial, burial service, seonghwa ceremony, and some living expenses to help them get back on their feet
thank you everyone for your support and prayers during this difficult time
George “Terry” Walton is survived by his wife Kazuko Walton, his son Takamasa Walton and
daughter Julia Walton.
