It is with great sadness that we deliver to you the heartbreaking news of the passing of our dear friend and family member George Ramos.  He was loved by all and was a legend here in Highland Park.  George was a permanent fixture at Do It Best Hardware store.  His 40 plus years working here brought joy, light, and laughter to all those he knew. His family was so close knit that when his daughter was old enough, she even started to work with him here at the hardware store.  

It is with heavy hearts that we ask for your help with the costs for his funeral. Your generosity is deeply appreciated by the Ramos family.  If you are unable to make a contribution, we ask that you offer up a prayer for George and for his grieving family to make it through this hardship with strength and courage as they say goodbye.
