Hi, my name is Chief Darlene Quinn-Gladu Misik of the Papaschase First Nation Band 136 Association. We are not recognized by the government so we get no funding.

Yesterday George Quinn, our Headman/Vice-Chief, suffered an explosion from a propane mishap in his camper that could have taken his life. He suffered second degree burns and is currently in the hospital. He has lost everything, including his wheelchair and clothing. As you may or may not be aware, George was living out of a camper here in the dead of winter in Alberta and has lost that now too, so he is homeless.

George has been waiting for double hip replacement surgery for a few years now and has immediate medical and living needs. We ask for any contribution you can give to help him during this time of transition so that he can get a place to live.

George has been living out of his camper for two years, waiting for hip replacement surgery. Of what he was able to give, he has poured his heart and soul into getting our Papaschase First Nation Band 136 Association readied for recognition and has put his name up front in our court litigation seeking justice for the descendants of the Papaschase Indian Band and Edmonton Stragglers who were on our Treaty Pay Lists.

Please give if you can.
