George's London Mini Marathon Fundraiser
Donation protected
George will run the London Mini Marathon on Saturday 26th April in aid of the Grimsby Town Disabled Supporters Association.
George is an avid fan of GTFC, regularly going to away fixtures with his dad, Mark. Some say he's their lucky mascot, with GTFC regularly winning or drawing in George's presence!
George, with the help of his Grandad will run a mile at this year's London Mini Marathon. A mile may not seem much, but for George, a mile is a lot. George was born with a genetic defect in his SCN2A gene, which causes uncontrolled epilepsy, ASD, intellectual disability, hypotonia, gastro problems, sensory processing disorder and more. George's balance, coordination and energy levels are greatly affected by his epilepsy and hypotonia. However, we are confident that George will have the determination and energy to complete the course with the help of his Grandad.
All proceeds will go to the Grimsby Town Disabled Supporters Association. They are a brilliant team of volunteers who help and support disabled GTFC fans have the best possible home and away match day experience. Football and all sports should be accessible for all.
George's determination is truly inspiring. Please join us in supporting them and the Grimsby Town Disabled Supporters Association. Our goal is to raise as much as possible to help ensure that football is accessible for everyone. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. Please donate and share this page to help us reach our goal!
