HELP GEORGE NICHOLSON AS HE FIGHTS CANCER

Friends, colleagues & well-wishers of George

We are setting up this fundraiser for our brother George Nicholson on behalf of his family, friends, and colleagues.

Some of you may already know, that in June, George Nicholson – Director at ADeB Consultants, past president of ASHRAE Caricom, and International Rugby activist – shared the challenging and unfortunate news of his cancer diagnosis. in his own words, George shared:

“I have Stage-4 lung cancer with metastases to my spine and hips. The condition is rather advanced with my right lung partially collapsed and tumors in my left lung. I am undergoing a course of immunotherapy overseas as there are no other treatment options available to me in Barbados”.

George is many things to all of us, husband, father, brother, son mentor, leader - but most of all - a fighter. He has openly shared about his challenges and progress, inspiring us all. George has also shared with some of us the fact that he has taken a US$50,000.00 loan with the hope that this will cover his medical expenses.

To support his ongoing fight, a support group has been formed to not only send positive thoughts and prayers to George but to raise funds in support of his recovery efforts.

This GoFundMe in the name of George Nicholson is set up with a beginning goal of US$50,000.00 to cover repayment of the medical loan and having met that we then hope to assist him with the additional medical expenses that come with a fight of this magnitude.

In addition to making your contributions, you are asked to also share this campaign within your personal and professional networks.

As we look forward to a successful campaign and, more importantly - George’s recovery – we will attempt to keep everyone informed on progress.
