George Monk was taken from us too early and he will be greatly missed by everyone in the JB Hunt family.

If you never met or worked with George before the first thing that would stick out to you was his booming voice and genuinely positive attitude with everyone that he worked with. George came to work every single day with one mission in mind, and that was to help make J.B. Hunt Drivers, Managers and Operations better.

George had an extensive career with JB Hunt and brought years of experience in transportation to his fellow managers and was always willing to do anything that was asked of him. He supported countless operations in L.A and the I.E. and was always flexible on his hours and schedule. George did whatever he could to help, and never complained. He truly wanted what was best for J.B. Hunt and his dedication and passion in his work reflected that.

Family was so important to George, his grandkids were the light of his life and you would be hard pressed to find someone more proud to be a grandpa then George Monk. He spoke about them with such pride, excitement and genuine happiness.

J.B. Hunt Family lets help the Monk family honor George the way he deserves to be honored. George was always there for us let's make sure that we are here  for him and his family in this time of need!
