We are raising money to help George McCook and his family get through a trouble accident that happen the morning of New Years Eve.
Those who know George know that he's been an auto mechanic for many years. Monday morning George was working on a car when something sparked, ignited something flammable and blew up in his face, head, chest and hands. George's hands got the worst of it. As you can imagine a mechanic that looses the use of their hands is in for a hard road ahead.
George is currently in the burn unit at Doctors Hospital in Augusta GA where he under went a procedure on New Years day. He has more procedures in the coming weeks all pending how recovery is going. George needs our support as he will be out of work for approx the next 3 months. We are trying to raise $5,000, which is why we've created a GoFundMe to help cover some medical expenses, next few monthly expenses for his family and follow on visits to the doctor, etc.
