George McAlonie was a much-loved colleague and friend to many of us at Avens Retail. Sadly, he passed away on 10th April 2026.

In George’s memory, his colleagues and friends are organising a fundraising hike up Ben Nevis on Saturday 20th June 2026. Anyone who knew George is warmly invited to take part and join us in remembering him.

George’s family have kindly requested that all funds raised be donated to Kirkcaldy Hospice, whose care and support meant so much to them.

We hope this will be a fitting tribute to George and a wonderful opportunity for everyone who knew him to come together, share memories, and support an important cause in his name.
