Hello,
My name is Jerrielynn, and we are looking for assistance for the George Krueger family with medical bills, in-home care, alterations to the home for a wheelchair ramp and more items required for George during his time of recovery. He is a Father of 4, Grandfather of 11, Great Grandfather of 1, Husband for 45 yrs, Sibling of 4 ( one who has passed away), Uncle and loyal friend to many, and always a dedicated worker. Adams Roofing employed George in Janesville, WI for 25 yrs; He moved to Arkansas in 2003 and worked at Highland Windows. He also opened his own roofing business there. In 2012 he became employed by Honeycomb Camp Ground in Grant, Alabama, and lived there for 10yrs. He is currently employed with Twin Oaks Mobile Home Park in Whitewater, WI.
George became severely ill on Thursday, Feb 17th, and by Sunday, the 20th of Feb, he was admitted into ICU fighting to breathe. After running several tests by Wednesday, Feb 23rd, he was diagnosed with staphylococcus infection in his blood. The infection was located in his left knee, which called for an emergency above the knee amputation to save his life. Unfortunately, in addition to the left leg amputation, they found more of the infection spreading to his right knee, which another surgery had to be performed to remove the artificial knee. His pacemaker was also removed due to infection. In just one in half weeks, he underwent three surgeries. At this time, he is still in the hospital, fighting every day for his life. He will need more surgeries but the time of when is unkown, this will be known if they find the blood disease continues to spread or finally comes to and end with all the hardware out of his body.
George was nominated into in The Bowling Hall of Fame and was an avid bowler on leagues at El Ray Bowl. He also was a District Deputy for the Elk's Organization while he lived in Arkansas and held many officer positions in the Alabama and Arkansas lodges.
George was known for making everyone around him laugh. His karaoke was always requested because he could put on a show with his voice and moves.

The above information is a small portion of what could be said of George and his accomplishments. The Krueger family hopes to raise enough money for the medical bills that are not covered by insurance, home modifications , wheelchair van any other expenses that will most certainly come their way. In addition, George will not be working any time soon, which will be another hardship for the family. Please consider giving support and financial assistance to the family.
There also will be a fundraiser in May at El Ray Bowl in Janesville, WI. The exact date is unknown at this time.
Thank you for taking the time to read this GOFUNDME PAGE. PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO OTHERS IF YOU CAN.
