Memorial for George Jirout

It's hard to describe the life of a man that has been 100 percent about dedicating his compassion and care for literally every person he ever had the time to meet with both in his job and his personal life but let me do my best:

George Jirout lived and dedicated his life to honoring and caring for those around him as much as he could in his short life. He was an honor student, the leader of his pack in college at UND, and a social worker, and he served many children in his foster and social services and crisis management career. More importantly, he is a son, a brother, a dad and a husband.

He was given a terminal cancer diagnosis in August. He was given six short months to say goodbye to his loved ones. Today we realize that his time is narrow and any moment from this day will very likely be his last.

We know those around him love him and want to help. We created this go-fund-me to allow that help to flow into him and my mom as we prepare for the end-of-life costs that will soon fall on my mom after his passing.

We are living our most significant trauma and most unbelievable grief.
