We are sad to say that George passed, July of 2023, at the age of 92. He was amazingly active until this past year. He last skied Mammoth in April of 2021! George was adventurous and he liked heights: climbing mountains, skiing black runs and flying high in his Stearman. He always thought it would be great to put up a 20 foot flagpole to show how much he loved and believed in his country at all times, just as he did when he enlisted in the Navy and served in the Korean war.

In lieu of flowers, we thought it would be appropriate to install the flagpole that he always wanted. Please do not feel obligated in any way to donate towards this but for those who have asked to contribute in some way, we believe this is a great way to honor George.
