In February 2025, our friend and brother in Christ, George A. Durant, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. This rare fast-growing blood cancer starts in your bone marrow and spreads to other parts of the body. His ongoing treatment has left him unable to work, and he is currently on medical leave from his job at Goodwill of Kentucky. Once he enters the maintenance phase of treatment, George plans to return to work. In the meantime, mounting bills and daily expenses have left him in a dire financial situation.
