There are some people who walk into a room and instantly light it up. George Donaldson was that kind of person.

For almost 4 years, George was more than just a colleague at our LCY3 – he was family. He worked across Outbound, ABM, and eventually Inbound/Dock, and no matter where he was placed, he left a trail of laughter, positivity, and heart.

George had a gift – the ability to lift anyone’s spirit with just a joke or a kind word. On the hardest days, he was our reason to smile. He didn’t just do the job – he made sure to enjoy it while he worked. Whether it was early mornings, George was there, making us laugh, reminding us that we were in this together.

His presence was felt by everyone in the FC. He wasn’t just a co-worker; he was a brother, a mentor, a friend. His energy, his kindness, and his sense of humor made him unforgettable. Losing him has left a space we’ll never be able to fill.

As we try to come to terms with this loss, we want to honor George in a way that reflects the love and care he gave to all of us.
