Calling all Angels...
In the past 24 hours it's amazing what has happened. So many have stepped up to help someone they don't know.
While my friend may not actually be George Bailey's sister in real life, Nashville has never known one so deserving--and humbled. And if truth be told she's a cross between George & Clarence.
She has advocated for and ministered to people in prison, people living in poverty and in the streets for many years and you probably know someone she helped in the middle of the night.
And now, like so many she has been hard hit by Covid and she finds herself in a tight spot without a job and without a car. And finally after many months, a job opportunity has come her way, but transportation is a must.
She is too embarrassed to allow me to share her identity or more about her but let me say this. If I live 10 more life times I will have not impacted as many lives as her.
So join me in lifting up "Georgette Bailey". The campaign was originally set at $5500 for a used car but I just raised it after closer research (reality) so we are aiming at $7500.
For all those angels who have already given, thank you so much. If there is ever someone who will pay it forward it is 'Georgette Bailey'!
