Hi, my name is George Bailey – for the past decade, I’ve poured my heart and soul into creating music that means something. After years of writing, performing, and connecting with audiences across the UK, I’m incredibly proud to be leading a high-energy 3-piece band born right here in Teesside. Our sound fuses electric alt-rock with soulful folk and raw, honest songwriting. It’s music that hits hard, lifts you up, and stays with you long after the show ends.

Our recent performance at Stockton Calling—where we drew over 200 people to a 2pm slot at the Georgian Theatre—was a breakthrough moment. Hosted by the festival curators and BBC Introducing, it left a mark on the crowd and industry professionals alike. Since then, we’ve seen growing interest from major players in the live scene, including headliners, publishers, and live session scouts.

Now, we’re ready to take the next big step: recording our first live EP.

We’re asking for your help to raise £2,500 to professionally record, mix, and release our debut live EP—a real and powerful representation of what we do best: connecting with people through music that moves, uplifts, and leaves a lasting impression.

Why This Matters Now

Last month, we played to a packed Georgian Theatre at Stockton Calling, pulling over 200 people to a 2pm slot—a moment hosted by BBC Introducing and the festival curators themselves. The response was overwhelming. Since then, the buzz around the band has grown, and industry interest has followed from headliners, publishers, and session scouts.

We have momentum. What we don’t have is a label, a team, or a big budget. (Each day in the studio will cost around £300 so we’re admitting that this is out of our reach as an independent band). This is DIY to its core—and that’s why we’re turning to you.

Why I Do This

Teesside is home. After studying songwriting away from the North East, I came back with a renewed purpose: to build a creative, inclusive, and thriving music scene in the place that raised me. I’ve spent the last few years encouraging young musicians, hosting live shows with up to 500 attendees, and curating events that spotlight emerging talent in the region.

This project isn’t just for us—it’s for the wider community that’s built us up, believed in us, and shown up time and time again.
