Hi, my name is Annalysse! I own Pawz and Clawz in Wilson NY so you may already be familiar with me! I’m raising these funds on behalf of one of my best friends Alyssa Hillman who very unexpectedly lost her father yesterday. He unfortunately did not have life insurance so everything falls onto Alyssa and her family.

Nobody wakes up and thinks they’re going to lose someone they love that day. I’m sure that was the last thing on Alyssa’s mind after receiving a phone call from her father. Nothing can possibly prepare you for the loss of a parent. Alyssa is one of the strongest people I know overcoming more than I’d ever imagine a person to. She has been consistently reflecting and bettering herself since I’ve known her. I hate that she’s in pain and that I can’t take that away for her.

I didn’t know George for very long, and I only met him a handful of times but what I CAN say with certainty is that:

He was funny- he had a great sense of humor!!

He was kind and helpful- always offering to help in some way, shape, or form.

He loved his pets, and he loved his daughter!

Alyssa has been extremely good to me as a friend and has helped me through some of my toughest times. Although I can’t take away her pain, I just want to show her she is not alone as she navigates these next few months.

We are all aware of the financial instability going on in our country. No one is ever prepared to bury a loved one. I’m hoping to aid Alyssa and her family in any financial struggles they come across regarding the tragic loss of George.
