We are in urgent need to help our family friend. Her son George is in the hospital and she is needing to stay by his side at this present time and she cannot work.
Anything amount will help cover her house rent and utilities. I hope we gather as one to help support in this extremely difficult time of emotional and mental heaviness.
At an age when many are exploring new opportunities, George's world changed dramatically after surgery for a broken foot in his teen years. George started to have nonstop pain. With non stop doctor visits across states and non stop testing's, he was diagnosed with Vasculitis Polyarteritis Nodosa (PAN) which is a rare form of vasculitis and myositis.
Over time, these signs intensified, making everyday tasks we may take for granted, difficult.
Prolonged recovery became a central theme in George's young life. Unlike a simple illness with a clear path to healing, his journey was complicated by underlying health issues. This slowed his progress, causing setbacks just as hope seemed within reach.
For George, the ongoing battle with his body took a heavy toll on his mental health. The unpredictability of symptoms, frequent medical appointments, and the uncertainty of the future led to frustration, anxiety, and isolation. Social gatherings became rare, as fatigue and pain made daily life difficult.
Friends and family, though extremely supportive, sometimes struggled to understand the invisible aspects of his struggle.
George persevered, even though the mental and physical struggle, he fought. He fought to take care of his body and mind.
But Physical pain can be a debilitating enemy.
Thank you for any amount you are able to give. Please continue to pray for them, as George and this family go through this year's journey of healing.
