Geordie's Journey

This is Geordie Mumby. In 2007, he and his wife Stefanie Mumby moved from Canada to “Southside” Oroville, a tough neighborhood affected by poverty and drugs. He has been faithfully helping and loving the people there and became the Associate Pastor of the Father's House Church and has four beautiful children, Jack (11), Lia (9), Jase (7) and Little Geordie "Lil G" (5).



In April 2019, Geordie was diagnosed with Rectal Cancer and very soon found out that the cancer has spread to his liver as well. He started his first round of chemotherapy in May, and will be starting Y90 radiation therapy too. Because Geordie has been so selfless in his love for people and so impactful in many people's lives, we want to raise funds to help with the Mumby family expenses such as gas / traveling expenses to Chico and San Francisco Bay area for appointments and treatments, as well as special dietary needs. It will also greatly help with taking pressure off of daily bills and life.
