Geordie's Guitars

Geordie Beddoe left us this week. I am not related to Geordie, but we have been friends since I first met him years ago and we bonded over our love of music and the conversations always seemed to steer their circuitous way back to our much-loved Martins. Knowing how much his guitars meant to him, I want to do what I can to help keep them in the family. His nephew is a young picker, surprise, surprise.

  My idea is to have them professionally appraised and to attempt to raise at least that amount to help defray medical expenses (which may force them to sell the guitars) and keep these treasures in the family.  All additional funds over and above the appraisal value will be included in this memorial donation. Geordie gave many of us a smile, perhaps we can all share that smile in our own way,
