Geoff Casely

Hi, I’m Jody. My dearest friend (and yours) Geoff passed away unexpectedly last weekend.

As many of Geoff’s friends, you will know that Venetia, his beloved sister, has supported her brother throughout his adult life, especially when times were hard.

we all want Geoffs life to be celebrated in full.

He didn’t want a cremation full of friends grieving, or a funeral service at a church with a coffin but instead wanted his ashes in an urn at church for a service celebrating his life, surrounded by friends and loved ones, and then on to celebrate some more…

Geoff leaves behind four beautiful children, who meant the world to him, and although nothing can ease their pain, Venetia wants to ensure they each have something of their Dad to treasure, and know he’s close by in their futures.

We really need your help to give Geoff the memorial and send off he truly deserves.

My beautiful, funny, kind, loving, annoying, generous, brother, carer, rock and best friend Geoff Casely. passed away unexpectedly at home in bed at the weekend.

I can’t begin to describe how shocked and devastated we are. Geoff was one in a million, had a massive heart, worn totally on his sleeve and touched the lives of so many people. I’ve spoken to lots of you in the last couple of days and know his love and friendship was felt all round the world.

I’ve always been in awe of the number of friends he had. It seemed that everybody loved him. His enthusiasm was infectious and he was the kindest person I know. He would do anything for anyone but most of all for his children.

He lived for his children. They were his everything and he made sure they knew how loved they were whether together or apart. My heart is broken for Imogen, Sebastian, Matilda and Tabatha. But also for me, and everyone that knew and loved him. Despite all his struggles in recent years he made the world a better place.
