Geoduck Septic Project
Donation protected
The Geoduck Restaurant and Lounge has been a staple in Brinnon since 1938. Currently the restaurant has around 15 employees from local communities and plays a huge part in supporting our families. The restaurant also sponsors and assists in all community events and even feeds the community for free every Thanksgiving. Throughout COVID, we have managed to continue to be open every day and keep employees employed no matter how tough it got. Last year, we were notified that the septic system installed in the 70s is failing and that the option to pipe into the sewer system at the state park is available. Since then, the owner has paid thousands of dollars a month to have the tanks pumped 3 times a week. This just isn't feasible anymore especially during the off season where business is hurting anyway. We cannot move forward connecting to the sewer system system without a significant down payment and costs are estimated to be upwards of $50,000. We are asking for your help to keep this local gem open and available to our community. If you can spare anything for a donation, we would appreciate. If not, you can help by coming by and having lunch or dinner to support in that way.
