My dear friends, this is Geovanna Sahagun. She is an incredible woman of God... whose faith has carried her through many of life's battles. She is currently facing one of her toughest fights yet. If you know Geo, you know that she is one of the most kind, most caring person on this earth. And if you know Geo like I do, your heart has been touched by the unsurmountable love and presence and she brings every moment that you share with her.
Always willing to lend a helping hand, arm, leg, and heart... you always know you are in good hands when Geo is around. Geo has touched the lives of so many people at her church, at her school, at her home... and I know... whether it be through a text, phone call, or meetup... we all came out of those conversations better people because of Geo. She would always make sure her loved ones were supported and loved... and most importantly... she made sure we knew that we were loved by Love Himself, God.
This time around, Geovanna is in need of our help. A few weeks ago, she discovered a tumor in her pituitary gland. Not soon after, she headed off to Guadalajara for surgery. Everything seems to be looking good so far. The doctors have been able to remove 70% of the tumor... and now we are in the resting stage. They are leaving the rest of the tumor for radiation in a few months after she recovers and recuperates.
In the meantime, her loved ones back at home would like to support her as best as we can. Attached will be a link to her GoFundMe page. There you will find the latest updates from her family and doctors in Guadalajara, Mexico, as well as opportunities to donate to help support her family's medical expenses.
Before her surgery, Geo shared with us her dream of uniting everyone with God through her struggles. And at the end of it all, that's all that she needs from us to get through this.. our prayers... our relationships with God.
