Alongside a team of 15 Bens, I’ll be turning into BEN-Z for the day and jumping out of a plane to raise vital funds for a cause that’s close to mine and a lot of your hearts!
Over the years, with the cost of living increasing, we’ve struggled to keep the nightlife and music industry in a stable position. Grassroot venues that once shaped our childhoods are now closing down one by one every single month.
I’ve chosen this charity because The Music Venue Trust has one core purpose; it’s a UK Registered Charity which acts to protect, secure and improve UK Grassroots Music Venues for the benefit of venues, communities and upcoming artists.
For many of us, music is what keeps us going. Music is our escape when the world gets the best of us. Without these grassroots venues, I genuinely don’t think I’d have much else to live for. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the local grassroots venues pushing upcoming and emerging artists like myself.
Let’s come together and support an issue that’s close to home for us all. Lets fight to keep the night life thriving. Fight for the future generations to have the same experiences we did!
This will be an epic charity skydive event organised by The Council of Bens taking place on July 19th at Skydive Langar — a day that promises to be packed full of BENergy!
Here’s how your support will help:
My fundraising target is £500.
If the target is met, £240 will go towards covering the cost of the tandem skydive — this has been pre-arranged and agreed with the charity.
If the goal isn’t met, 50% of the funds raised will still be donated to the charity.
Every donation makes a real difference!
I'm proud to be part of this high-flying team — if you'd like to learn more about the skydive and support the other Bens’ causes too, check it out here: https://www.thecouncilofbens.com/its-raining-ben
Thank you so much for your encouragement and support — together, we can make an incredible impact (and hopefully land safely!)
