Gentry & Sons Shop Fire Assistance

Hi everyone. We are Tim and Ashley Gentry with Gentry & Sons Trucking.

As most know, we had a total loss on the evening on January 4, 2023. Our shop caught fire in the middle of the night, and we completely lost the structure, everything inside (tools and parts that are critical for keeping our fleet going), and a large portion of our equipment parked near it. We have to completely start over. We are eternally grateful no one was injured. We aren’t ones to ask for assistance, but at the point we don’t have any choice. This goes well beyond us as a family. We have other families that rely on us, too. We have 5 full time mechanics, and they mean the world to us, We want to be able to resume operations as much as possible so they can continue to support their families while we rebuild. As of now, we don’t even have the tools to do so. It would devastate us to have to let them go. While our worlds are at a standstill, unfortunately, bills are not. The trucking industry isn’t a cheap one to keep afloat. Any amount of donation is appreciated. More than anything, keep us in your prayers. We are crushed, but we must press on. We are grateful for each and every one of you. We couldn’t ask for a better group of people backing us through this disaster. We love you, and may God bless you all.
