Ken Smith: A Gentle Giant

When one of our own of is down and out it becomes our responsibility, our duty, our honor, to bring them back up to their feet. No matter the cost, no matter how long it takes.

We become the foundation for rebuilding for ours. Ken Smith is one of Tomacelli Academy's most elite instructors.

In fact, his specialty, the Combatives & Self Defense program at the academy, is in existence solely because of this man.

The number of individuals he has empowered through his teachings cannot be counted. He has unlocked, and unleashed their confidence to fight back and survive.

Kenny is an incredibly dedicated, life long, personal trainer whose reputation precedes him all throughout all of Orange county... Even more lives impacted...

He is a Christian Theologian of the highest degree. One of the few things he drastically outranks me in (~Prof. Tomacelli, hehe!). A man of continuous biblical study and self-evaluation. Something that he will gladly share with anyone who has the will to listen.  Add these to the count of lives impacted.

Kenny's profession, passion for combat, Christian lifestyle, and infinite dedication to his beautiful wife Christine Smith, truly make him one of the greatest givers I know. Yet, currently, he is being tested far more than any normal man.

In the last few years he has had heart surgery, a knee replaced, a first hip replaced, and then the second.

After having a second hip replacement a few weeks ago, an infection took hold on the new hardware and it had to be removed. Mentally, emotionally, and financially this is having a crushing impact.

For the next 4 months he will not to be able to give through his profession or passion.

He needs our help. It's our turn to give back.
