In Celebration of RoderickMcDougall

Donation protected
On the morning of February 7th Rod McDougall suddenly and unexpectedly lost his life.

Rod was a wonderful man with an infectious laugh and an avid love for God, his family, the Chicago Bears, and the great outdoors. His sister, Paula, stated he was also like a father to her as he helped raise her. Rod has been a father figure to so many people and always stepped up to the plate financially to assist his family even when he had very little financial resources himself.

Rod has always cared for everyone else, before himself: his wife, his children, his siblings, his grandchildren and helping to raise his nieces and nephews. Tradgedy struck early on in the marriage of Rod & Jackie McDougall when his adoring wife was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer that led to some fairly significant complications. Despite his size and gruff voice he truly was the most gentle person one could ever hope to meet, which inspired Jackie to affectionately call him her "gentle bear".  After the deaths of his 1st wife, sister, and grown son, none of whom had life insurance; Rod took care of the financial burden of all funerals and expenses. Jackie, his widow, is still continuing to pay for some of the past funerals on a monthly basis.

Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated in alleviating the financial burden left behind.

A huge Thanks goes out to all, for pouring out love and affection on all the family members whom Rod left behind, as well as lifting them up in prayer.
