On September 5, 2022, heaven gained one of the most beautiful souls on earth. Genevieve, or "Veva," was a daughter, mother, wife, and grandmother; her love, teachings, and spirit will live forever. She was one of the toughest and most resilient humans on this planet. She has been battling chronic illness for the last decade of her life. Beginning with valley fever that cost half of her lung. Next, she fell victim to a heart attack, and around this time, she was also informed that she had renal failure. Even throughout all her dialysis days and doctor appointments, you would always see Veva with a smile ear to ear, checking on others instead of herself. Finally, her last battle put her in the hospital and rehabilitation system from May 2022 to her peaceful passing.

We are planning a Celebration of Life in her hometown, and she will lie with her parents.
