Hi my name is Lynn and I've been struggling with PoTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) for 2 years now. For a while I was stable with few limitations to my life but recently I've gotten much worse. Tasks I used to find effortless are now difficult and some days near impossible.

The hardest tasks are the ones I most took for granted. Simply getting up to get water or use the restroom can be an issue without assistance. Even when I do have assistance there's always the chance that I fall and injure myself or the person assisting me.

With a large enough service dog trained to handle these situations and aid with mobility, there would be less injuries from falls, assistance when I need it, and a little bit of independence.
