Hi everyone, I’m reaching out for help during a difficult moment in my life.

As much as I’ve tried to handle everything on my own, I’ve reached a point where I can’t move forward without support.

I’m 26, living on my own, and working part-time at an Assisted Living Facility in the Memory Care unit, caring for residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s. My job means a lot to me, but the hours can be inconsistent, and with rising bills, essentials, and groceries, it has been getting harder to keep up. I’m doing my best every day, but sometimes “doing your best” still falls short.

Just before Thanksgiving, I was pulled over, and because of an insurance issue, my license ended up being suspended. Now I have to show the judge that I’ve taken responsibility and paid the remaining fees to get my license and insurance reinstated. I need my car to get to and from work safely, especially because I don’t have family nearby , and most family members I know work different schedules. My shift is 7 AM to 3 PM, and without transportation, I’m at risk of losing the only stability I have.

This has been overwhelming, and asking for help is not something that feels natural to me. But I’m trying to fix this the right way, stay responsible, and learn better budgeting so I don’t fall behind again.

What I need help with:

To reinstate my insurance and show proof to the court, I need to pay the Pay-in-Full amount offered by my insurance company, which is the lowest-cost option available.

(This includes the insurance company’s paid-in-full discount.)

Anything helps any amount, any share, any support. It would mean more to me than I can express. My goal is simply to get past this setback, continue working, and build something stable for myself again.
