As the old saying goes , " i come hat in hand " .
As my family and friends know I am currently battling " Large Basel Cell Hodskin's Lymphoma " . I'm told it's rare and rarer still that someone my age gets it . Because of complications during my treatment , (low White Blood Cell counts ((which can't be treated due to drug interactions with my chemo cocktails)) , i find myself in the position that i need help .
My NY State disability has run out . Because of the delays in treatment my medical leave from my job runs out 2 days after i'm currently scheduled to end treatment . At that point I'll have to go for pet/cat scans to determine whether or not I'll need further treatment and or radiation . In any event I'll not be returning to work as soon as I originally thought .
And so , I need help financially . I need money for med's , transportation to and from my appointments and just plain ordinary bills .
Any help you can give is very much appreciated .
