The Generosity Project Mission
To teach children about generosity and philanthropy through a hands-on experience in which donations of gifts and basic necessities are obtained and distributed to disadvantaged children worldwide.
The mission is two fold in that it will bring joy to disadvantaged children and help them feel supported and loved within their communities. In addition it will teach children about philanthropy and the value of giving back. The activities remind children that “it is not about you” as they pack gifts for other children and take nothing material home for themselves.
Many of you have attended my bag/box packing events. I am looking to expand on that idea by offering similar opportunities to multiple organizations and charities. I am researching the most efficient and cost effective ways of reaching the most children and spreading the message.
I need your help in growing The Generosity Project, a 501c3 corporation. My goal is to deliver 500 bags every month while educating the same number of children on what it means to make wholehearted giving part of their everyday lives. Please help me by donating to my fund.
