Gene's Market, Inc.

As a community, the time has come to help ourselves and each other, in that spirit I am asking for your help.  My name is Ron Carlos Hilton, I need your assistance developing Gene's Market in a grocery desert part of town long forgotten by industry and economic development,  inhabited by low to moderate income families who lack access to conveniently located fresh food and produce at an affordable cost.

                                Access to healthy foods provides choice and enhances quality of life.

                                Our children and thee elders deserve healthy food options. 

Lack of nutritional choices in low income areas is no accident and is by big corporate design.  Many of our children and elders suffer from preventable diseases:
                                                              1.)  Low Attention Span
                                                              2.)  Brain Malnutrition (often leads to juvenile delinquency)
                                                              3.)  Diabetes
                                                              4.)  High Blood Pressure
                                                              5.)  Compromised Immune System
                                                              6.)  Long-Term Malnutrition Directly Contributes to Mental Disability

Big corporations understand the impact of poor diet; therefore, they invest in prisons, instead of people.  As a people, we must begin to address this one neighborhood at a time.  We don't have far to go to make Gene's Market a reality.
