This sight has been established to help Gene Squires and his wife Shirley with ongoing medical expenses.  As many of you know Gene has had both feet amputated and is battling an infection.  Gene's hospital stay has been long, 4 weeks and counting.  When released he will need rehab to learn to function.  He won't be returning to work.
The funds added to this account are for Gene and Shirley.  They may access the monies as the bills roll in or to help with other expenses like making their home handicapped friendly.  Donations are considered "gifts" and are not tax deductable.  The funds will not be taxed as income when Gene or Shirley take a withdrawal.
There is no deadline you can donate anytime.  Donations can be anonymous.
Shirley and Gene are good people having a real bad time.  I hope in someway this may help ease their burden.
