Gene Pomeroy Family Support

 

 

 

Gene Pomeroy went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022. Gene was a kind and generous man who was deeply loved by his family, friends and all who knew him. Above all, Gene was a dedicated husband and father. We are asking for support for Gene's family.

Gene was hospitalized on Sunday, January 9th, with complications from covid. After being transferred to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Gene spent 2 weeks in the ICU and sadly passed away, leaving behind his wife, Sherre, and their four sons, Cody, Mitchell, Nick and Tyler. Gene enjoyed watching his boys ride motocross and coaching his sons and other children in baseball and other sports. The Pomeroy family has been a blessing to so many families in our community. Sherre has been active in the local homeschooling group, leading many co-op classes and always helping others out. She has devoted her days to homeschooling her boys while also working part-time to help support the family. With Gene's passing, the support of the family will now fall to Sherre, who must figure out a career as she continues to raise their sons. Let's bless this family back. We are asking for donations to help cover medical expenses, funeral costs and ongoing expenses so that Sherre can continue to provide for their boys.
