On Thursday, January 21st, 2021, the world lost a one-of-a-kind man, Gene Marrero. Gene was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He leaves behind his wife, Olga, children, grandchildren, and countless loved ones.
Gene was not without his flaws, and lord knows he knew how to push buttons, but he was also a loving and thoughtful man who would give the shirt off his back for others. Those who knew him well will remember his laugh and his crazy antics. After surviving a heart attack, blood clots, covid, and a slew of other medical issues, "the invincible man", passed in his sleep peacefully at the age of 63. We will cherish the memories until we meet again.
His wife, our adored Olga, was just released from the hospital after battling Covid and pneumonia to find out about the news of his passing. She has been unable to work these last few weeks and now has to pay for his bereavement services. We are asking for donations to help fund these services to allow the family to mourn without worrying about the financial stress too.
If you would rather donate cash or in person, please reach out Laura. Thank you.
