Aloha - Namolokama Canoe Club is sharing this Go Fund Me with all of you for a very important person and his 'Ohana that has long been connected in our community as a paddler, business owner, father and most importantly our dear friend.

As many of you know, Gene has had a very serious medical set back. On February 5 th , he was airlifted to the ICU at Straub for a life-threatening condition, called an ascending aortic dissection, a tear on the inner lining of the aorta. Gene is not a candidate for surgical repair and is on a very aggressive pharmaceutical regime to prevent the dissection from rupturing.

Gene is in good spirits, but is still facing a long road of recovery. Any contribution to help Gene, Tammie and Gunnar through this difficult time would be greatly appreciated.
