Hey so most of you know Gene Hobgood had open heart surgery Monday 8/19/19. He came in for a heart cath  on Thursday and informed him he would be staying because he had 2 blocked 100%, 1 blocked 90% and blocked 80%.  He had a quadruple bypass  on Monday and is now  in the CVCU at St Francis Hospital in Columbus Ga. He came through the surgery, is breathing on his own and is doing great! There have been a few set backs and the doctors are working hard on getting those corrected.  He will be here for awhile...this will be a lengthy recovery process. He will have to travel for physical therapy, follow ups for the cardiologist, nephrologist and endocrinologist. He also needs some medical equipment such as a lift recliner since he will not be able to use his arms to lift himself or sleep flat.  Debbie will have to take him to all appointments and will be staying at the hospital with him to assist in his care. So this will put a financial strain with all of the expenses and not being able to work. We have wonderful people who love him and have been praying for him! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and we are overwhelmed at the love that has showed!! Thank you!!!!
