Gendron Family Fire Recovery

On Saturday, December 3rd, Ray and Joyce Gendron lost their home to a devastating fire in Rochester, VT. This was not just a house, it was a sanctuary for family and friends, a gathering place for celebration and laughter, and a loving home filled with a lifetime of memories. The house was a total loss and Ray and Joyce are faced with relocating, rebuilding and replacing all of their belongings. I consider the Gendrons to be an extension of my own family and I know they would never ask for help, but I believe through  the power of social media, the Rochester community, the kindness of strangers, and the generosity of the season, we can support them through this very difficult time. 

Ray and Joyce were out of town when the fire took their home, therefore they did not have the opportunity to retreive any belongings. They are starting from scratch and immediately will need everything from clothing to the essentials for everyday living. 

As Christmas approaches, I am calling on all of my friends to please find a way to contribute to this family, I cannot adequately express how they have supported me and my family over the years- they are generous and kind, show support to anyone in their time of need, and never hesitate to lend a helping hand in any way that they can.
