My dear friend, Katie (she/they), will be undergoing a bilateral mastectomy (i.e. top surgery) in March. As you might be aware, gender-affirming care such as this can be expensive, even with the best insurance. Additionally, Katie is a self-employed tattoo artist, so she'll be missing out on income during the lengthy recovery process.

We aim to raise ~$5,200 to cover the following:

● $3,500 for the surgery;

● $1,000 for lost income;

● $500 for recovery supplies; and

● $200 for fundraising transaction fees (2.9% + $0.30 per donation in the US)
