Gender Sanctuary Scholarship Fund

Hello, my name is MaryAnn George and I am a coach, facilitator, and artist.

It is my dream to offer my course, Gender Sanctuary, to Trans, Nonbinary, and Gender Non-Conforming people free of charge.

While my coaching business is still growing, I alone am unable to provide the resources for these scholarships. People are often asking me "How can I support the Trans, Nonbinary, and Gender Non-Conforming community?" or asking how they can support my work. This fundraiser is a great place to start! 

With this fundraiser I am raising funds to offer 4 full scholarships to this course. In order to do so I am calling in community support. 

If you've thought that you would like to support Trans and Gender Non-Conforming folks, this is a fantastic opportunity. This also supports me, a Trans Nonbinary practitioner, to continue doing my work in a way that feels supported and valued by the community at large. 

So often I see Trans, Nonbinary, and Gender Non-Conforming folks supporting each other without much support from the wider community. All too often the intention is there, but the action is not. Contributing to this fund is one way you can make an impact right now. AND most importantly, it is one that a Trans Nonbinary person, myself, is asking for directly. 

While the gender binary is oppressive to everyone, it can be and often is harmful, even violent, to those of us that are Trans and Gender Non-Conforming. It seems the onus of education and exploration is on us, even though this work is for everyone to do! Because our survival depends on it, we often carry the brunt of the burden. Here's more about the course: 

Gender Sanctuary is a live Zoom experience featuring meditation, Soul Collage®, incredible guest teachers as well as open sanctuary hours for more support. Together we will traverse inner landscapes and body scapes, inviting in lost or forsaken parts and pieces of ourselves. Mapping out the stories and timelines of our genders to see them in a more holistic way.

It's a tender journey through genderscapes, a soft revolution focused on self-exploration and expansive embodiment.
