Hi Friends! One of my favorite humans on this planet, SJ, has been approved for top surgery (yes, you need to go through a long approval process for this) and is scheduled this coming December to finally have this procedure. We are so fortunate that most of this has been covered by insurance, and recognize that not everyone has that opportunity.

As you know, gender affirming healthcare saves lives, and I am grateful to be living in a state that not just supports that, but also stands up for the LGBTQIA+ community, and our healthcare. We are very lucky.

Specifics: The insurance covers most of the surgery expenses, but SJ will be unable to work during their recovery and I am hoping to help get them financial support through our communities to contribute to their needs during this time.
