Gender affirming surgery for Nici

So I recently flew to Istanbul in hope of receiving top surgery.

Unfortunately, during the procedure I aspirated stomach contents into my lungs causing my lungs to spasm and unable to take in any oxygen.

As a result, I developed aspirational pneumonia which as a result meant I am unable to receive top surgery this time around.

Fortunately, not all costs have been lost, however, hospital fees, flights, and hotels, for days spent I am not able to claim back.

I'm looking to try and fundraise these costs backs so that I can try and rebook surgery in September when I am fully recovered.

Words cannot describe the sadness I felt when I woke up to no surgery, and being told I had to wait another three months for a circumstance I did not prepare for.
